I'm so glad you've come by to look at my site and are interested in sharing my passion. I have loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember, and took my first class when I was about 14yrs old. I carried a camera, and several rolls of film, through the halls of my high school. I loved the creative freedom it gave me and I truly enjoyed watching the end result jump off the page, as it rested in the tub of liquid. With just the touch of a button, and the click of the shutter, the moments were frozen. As years passed, I began to challenge myself to capture the exact expression that made each photograph so special. Though I continued taking photographs, my reality was telling me that I had to get a 'real job' to help support my family. I did. Then, after spending ten years in a cubicle, I remembered how much I enjoyed making my snapshot memories and I knew that there was more for me than ringing phones, sales quotas and deadlines. My daughter was quickly approaching her teen years and, while I was as present as I could've been, I felt strongly about making myself more available to her. With my husband's complete support, I began my journey and accepted photography as my passion and talent. I have so much to be grateful for. I knew that my love for people, combined with my ability to capture them in candid moments, was something that would bring me great joy. I have been so blessed to have surrounded myself with clients who have welcomed me into their lives to capture the growth of their families through my camera lens.
